Outfits of the Fortnight v.13

Oooooo lucky number 13! And I managed to wear nothing particularly amazing though I did wear my favorite skirt, my first piece of burando~.

It warmed up homg. Hence the short sleeves in January! I pinned the collar bit back so it was more like straps.

Hey look it's my favorite skirt. It's still so green and pink. :D We also had some springish weather and someone asked me to lunch so I thought I'd be fab and spring-y.

It was still warm so a chiffon blouse and skirt seemed like a good idea. Also the yellow was bright and chipper and perfect for the bright and chipper weather.

It cooled down quite a bit overnight so the next day I rocked boots and thermal leggings but I'd enjoyed the chiffon so much I pulled out the black twin of my yellow/grey/white stripe one and paired it with the same blouse.

Pretty low key, taking wardrobe pics made me want to wear my white lace dress and the hair bow that matches. It was still a bit cold out so I layered like a boss.

Make-Up: Platinum Grape Cell Eye Cream

Another sample from one of my face wash orders, I don't really have much to say about this.

Product:

It's a thick cream, it doesn't feel like it would absorb well. The smell is very not memorable and neither here nor there on whether I'd say I like or dislike it. There was enough for a few days of use.

Evaluation:

It doesn't absorb quickly but it does absorb eventually. I really wasn't that impressed with it at all. I prefer my lighter but seemingly more hydrating Boots Sensitive eye cream.

Lolita Wardrobe 2013~!

It's January so you know what that means~! Wardrobe post! Just a warning this post is 50 images, including that header up there.

My closet. Not very different from last year. I didn't really add any new interesting shoes or purses this year (well, except that Cait Sith plush I made which doubles as a purse Bunny/Bear-backpack-eat-your-heart-out) so I left those out. Same with headbands. Anything with (New) next to it's origin means I got/made/finished it this year. :D

Bought off a friend in the Austin comm for a steal since it needed a lot of repairs. The best part was since it needed a ton of repairs anyways I didn't feel bad shortening the straps so it sits on me perfectly. :D

The red one is from my Red Bull Grand Prix lolita camping trip where I was totally able to get myself on an earlier flight to my connection in San Francisco and hit up the BtSSB store there! If I would have had any more room in my backpack I would have gotten the navy colorway too (I was already shoving this down the front of my jacket to be within bag limits for my flight lol).

The purple petti with the green waistband (aka the Riddler Petti) and the blue shippo pattern bloomers are new. I should have a tutorial for how I make organza petticoats up the first Thursday of February! It's super simple and considering my blue one has held up for 2-3 years with at least weekly wear I consider it a successful pattern.

This is how I store my socks, gloves and other small but not really small items, it's one of those 10 drawer towers from Office Depot.

Offbrand and Vintage except the second hankie to the right which is hand embroidered by me. I like embroidering/repairing/doing stuff with my hands while I watch things and I still have all of Naruto: Shippudan left.
